I started Sterling Prepress after helping Smithsonian Magazine sucessfully move from film and plates to electronic files. Once that conversion was made, all of the production costs were brought in-house.
Without the need for big platesetters and antiquated proofing systems, providing quality print production became affordable. 20 years experience, three computers and a plotter got us up and running.
A degree in Photojournalism from the Universit of Misouri-Columbia, computer know-how from setting up a and running a prepress department at Smithsonian Magazine and the countless publications that have crossed my desk give me a unique set of skills to offer clients.
